I spent nearly a week in Texas, visiting four user groups and talking about Couchbase as much as possible.
The second two days of the week I spent in Houston. Here are the videos:
Houston.js Group – I Have a NoSQL Toaster
I visited the Houston.js meetup on October 12th. The Iron Yard hosted the meetup. It was a cool little boot camp / startup facility, with a great mix of people with a variety of focuses: experienced, new, enterprise, startup, were all in attendance.

Houston .NET User Group
Finally, I visited the Houston .NET User Group, which I learned may be the oldest .NET user group in the nation. It was a very unique group and very lively.
They were kind enough to give me a (very comfortable) polo shirt featuring the user group logo. If you are in the Houston area, you simply must attend one of these meetings, even if you aren’t a .NET developer.
